Data Deletion Instructions
How to delete your data from Zit Media
Overview
You have full control over your data on Zit Media. If you choose to delete your account, we will permanently remove all data associated with your profile from our systems.
What Data Is Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email)
- All scheduled posts
- Connected account tokens
- Account preferences
- Usage analytics tied to your account
Note: Posts already published on external social platforms cannot be deleted by us. You must delete them directly on those platforms.
Request Account Deletion via Email
To initiate the data deletion process, you may request deletion by emailing us at support@zit.media.
Please email us from the same email address used on your Zit Media account, so we can verify your identity and process the deletion.
We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 15 days.
Data Retention After Deletion
- Immediate: Account access is revoked
- Within 7 days: Scheduled posts & media files are deleted
- Within 15 days: All personal data is removed from our systems
- Up to 90 days: Anonymized logs may remain for security purposes
Confirmation
Once your data has been fully deleted, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive confirmation within 15 days, please contact us.
